Impressing Your Wife – How to Surprise Your Wife By Cooking Dinner

Your wife will be totally impressed and have a deeper love for you after this delicious and easy to prepare meal. Along with tips on how to make the evening perfect this is a must read for any good husband.

Arrange a time when your wife will be away so you have time to prepare. Or send her out on an adventure or better yet book her in for a massage and facial – just because she deserves it!

Once you’re in the kitchen be prepared to work quickly to get everything ready for her return. Use your own recipe or follow the instructions below to cook this beautiful and easy meal which she will be most impressed by.

In your time whilst things are cooking you should be preparing the dinner table. You will need to have;

• A tablecloth
• Candles
• Plates, Cutlery, Napkins, Salt & Pepper
• A single rose laid across her plate
• Drinking glasses

Ensure the surroundings are appropriate and impressive. Check things like;

• The area is tidy
• Soft music playing
• The lights are dimmed
• Your bed is made with clean sheets
• There is ice
• Wine or other drinks are chilled
• Chilled drinking water is available

Make sure when your wife arrives home you are;

• In dining clothes
• Kiss her passionately
• Greet her with flowers
• Pull out her chair at the table
• Pour her a drink

You are going to present your wife with a home cooked 3 course meal. The first course is Entree. You are going to make a Prawn cocktail. You will require;

• 12 large cooked prawns, peeled with tails on
• 2 lemon wedges
• 6 lettuce leaves
• Seafood sauce
• 1 tomato diced
• ¼ cucumber diced

Place the lettuce into 2 small bowels; put the prawns into the bowls with the tails hanging over the edge. Mix the tomato and cucumber and put into the middle of the bowl.
Place a wedge of lemon into each bowel.
Put the sauce into two separate sauce bowels and serve separate.
You can place this in the fridge and it is ready to go.

15 – 20 minutes after entree is served you will be ready to serve main course. The main course you will be serving is Avocado and Prosciutto wrapped Chicken Breast. Sounds good doesn’t it, and it’s easy to cook too! You will require;

• 2 Chicken breasts
• 4 pieces prosciutto
• ½ Avocado
• 4 pieces broccolini
• 12 baby carrots

A white sauce is lovely served with this dish, if you want to buy a packaged one they are available, and if you 3want to make your own this is how. You will need;

• 600ml milk
• 2 tbspn butter
• 2 tbspn plain flour or cornflour
• 1 cup chopped parsley

First you will cook the chicken breast in the oven for 20 minutes.
Then take the breast out and wrap 2 pieces of prosciutto around each breast.
Put back into the oven for 10 minutes.
Steam the broccolini and baby carrots until cooked firm.
Slice the avocado.
Place the chicken breast onto the plate and the sliced avocado leaning against the chicken.
The broccolini and carrots go on the other side of the chicken.
To make the sauce, heat most of the milk and butter.
Use the remainder milk to mix about 3-4 tbspn flour into a paste.
Whisk or use a fork to remove any lumps.
When the milk is hot, but not boiling, pour the paste in and stir continuously.
Season with salt, pepper and parsley. Have the white sauce in a separate serving dish to pour on yourselves.

About ½ an hour after main course is an appropriate time serve dessert. Your dessert is called Berrylicious. You will need;

• 600ml pre made custard
• 2 cups mixed berries (using frozen is ok)
• 4 strawberries
• 300ml thick cream
• 1 flake chocolate bar

You will need 2 tall glasses, wine or champagne glasses will do.
Place custard into bottom of glass 1/3 full.
Then place berries on top of custard to almost full.
Whisk the cream so it’s really thick and put on top of berries.
Flake chocolate on top of cream then add the strawberries on top.
This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until dessert time.

During your meals it’s a good idea to remember tips like;

• Make conversation and listen when your wife talks
• Clear the dishes in between each meal, it’s not her job, it’s yours
• Top up her drink as required
• Make sure the television is not on at any time
• Put phones away

Your wife will be very impressed by the effort you have taken to cook her dinner and give her a relaxing and wonderful experience.
